I’m Anton Kolev. I’ve played poker professionally for over 15 years.
I’ve sat at tables where a single decision was worth more than most people earn in a month. I’ve made brilliant calls and catastrophic ones. I’ve tilted away bankrolls and rebuilt them from scratch. More than once.
What I’ve learned through all of it: poker isn’t really about cards. It’s about decisions under pressure, emotional control when everything’s on fire, and the discipline to show up every day and do the work – even when the results say you shouldn’t.
The Triangle Framework
Everything I teach comes back to three things:
- Technical – Strategy, GTO, hand analysis, study methods. The math and logic of the game.
- Mindset – Psychology, tilt control, emotional regulation, learning how to learn. The game inside the game.
- Body – Sleep, routine, recovery, physical performance. I train Shaolin daily. Your body runs your brain. Ignore it and your edge disappears.
Most poker education picks one of these and ignores the rest. That’s why most poker education doesn’t work.
What This Site Is
I’m documenting a bankroll challenge – micro-stakes to the Triton Series – and sharing everything I learn along the way. The wins. The losses. The tilt. The breakthroughs.
I break down conversations with some of the best players in the world – Fedor Holz, Daniel Negreanu, Isaac Haxton, Mustapha Kanit – and translate their high-stakes thinking into lessons you can use at your stakes tonight.
No hype. No shortcuts. No “guaranteed profits.” Just what actually works, tested with real money over thousands of hours.
Who This Is For
You play poker 2-3 nights a week. Maybe you’ve got a \-\,000 bankroll. You study when you can – 30 minutes here, a YouTube video there – but nothing seems to stick when you sit down and play.
You know the theory. You can’t apply it under pressure. You tilt and give back your wins. You don’t know what to focus on.
That’s where I was. That’s what this site is built to fix.
